Pay tribute to the dead - Seoul Metropolitan Chorus

행사 소개

"Pay tribute to the dead (Ein deutsches Requiem/German Requiem) " The 123rd Regular Concert of Seoul Metropolitan Chorus Warm requiem for living people, <Ein deutsches Requiem> Contrary to the usual requiems composed to comfort the spirit of the dead, Brahms' 'Ein Deutsches Requiem' consoles the people in deep sorrow over the death of their beloved. It took approximately 10 years to finish composing this piece, which was completed in 1868, and the lyrics is in German, which Luther used to translate the Bible, instead of in Latin which is generally used for lyrics. For this concert, it will be performed in Korean for a deeper sympathy of the audience. Authentic Classical Choral Music of great depth It is the authentic classical choral music performance that is far to seek these days, and also a performance of great expectation of Soprano Eunkyoung Kim and Baritone Jooho Woo, who are actively performing in the classical music field in present time, and their skills as a soloist. It will be a great performance to feel the depth of the authentic choral music as it eliminates the crossover genre that is booming these days. 주최: 세종문화회관
