Soprano Kim Bandi＊Yoon Arnah Joint Recital

Here are two female composers of highly contrasting colors, who are not well known to the public, but who have built their own musical world while greatly influencing and being influenced by other artists of their time. One is Alma Mahler, a lover of famous musicians, architects, and writers in Germany, and the other is Pauline Viardot, a French composer with roots in Spain. The musical worlds of the two female composers are very different, but they are both passionate. Alma Mahler influenced the lives of famous people in other fields besides Zemmlinsky and Gustav Mahler, and Viardot gained a reputation as a vocalist and composer amidst active communication with George Sand, Chopin, Clara Schumann, and Berlioz.
