What do we come to long for, gathered there? We all gather in the theater, waiting for a total solar eclipse that will begin 180 minutes from now. It has been 375 years since this region last saw a total eclipse — a rare moment we may witness only once in our lifetime. What will we hope for, gathered here together? And once we have seen what we longed for, what will we become? Will we scatter, each turned into something else? ‹Waiting for Totality› stages not the awaited event, but the time of waiting itself. You may lie down, fall asleep, scroll through your phone — just wait with us. We are divided into audiences and creators, but perhaps we are all in the same situation after all. Beyond that division, we create a single piece of theater together. What you see in the theater today is what we have made. Not something we have made for you, but something we have made ourselves, together. And so, passing by theaters that consume events, we become a loose and fleeting community — emerging from the gestures we happen upon by chance. 주최: 세종문화회관
