Act I: The Christmas Party On a snowy Christmas Eve, a Christmas party is underway at Clara’s house. Her godfather, Drosselmeyer, gives Clara a nutcracker doll as a gift. That night, while everyone is asleep, the Mouse King and his army suddenly appear and wreck the Christmas tree, and the Nutcracker and his toy soldiers rise up to fight them. Clara rescues the Nutcracker from danger, and together they defeat the Mouse King and his army. The Nutcracker, now transformed into a prince, sets off with Clara in a reindeer-drawn sleigh for the Land of Fantasy, blessed by the Snowflakes. Act II: The Magical Land of Fantasy In the Land of Fantasy, a festival is held in honor of Clara and the Nutcracker Prince. Colorful folk dances from around the world unfold, with chocolate, candy, and other sweets coming to life. At last, Clara, transformed into the Sugar Plum Fairy, dances a beautiful grand pas de deux with the Nutcracker Prince. 주최: 세종문화회관
