Kim Joon Hee’s Piano Recital to Mark the 250th Anniversary of the Birth of Beethoven

Profile Kim Joon-hee is considered a ‘player armed with both elegant technique and sensibility’ as well as a ‘pianist who possesses romanticism and embodies a contemplative and logical composition’. She graduated from Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School, the Department of Instrumental Music of Seoul National University College of Music (piano honor admission and honor graduation) and the graduate school of the same university before completing a doctorate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a masterclass at San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She worked as a TA at Seoul National University Graduate School, an accompaniment assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a visiting scholar at Stanford University. Currently, she is in charge of basic liberal arts education at Incheon National University Basic Education Center and teaches students at Kyung Hee University and Korea University.
