Theater “Amadeus”

행사 소개

You’re my eternal enemy. You should have given me the talent as well when you gave me the desire. We’re eternal enemies for each other from now on. SYNOPSIS Unjust God! Do not laugh at us, human beings! Antonio Salieri, coming from a poor family in a small town, makes his way to the church conductor and gains fame as the court composer. When he sees a performance by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, he becomes instantly impressed with his genius. While Salieri maintains all the musical traditions of that time in his compositions, Mozart radiates overflowing inspiration in his performances and pours out unrivaled inventiveness and transcendence in his compositions. Despite his musical genius, however, Mozart leads a loose and dissolute life, throwing parties and spending all the money he earned. On the one hand, Salieri admires Mozart’s genius shown in all his compositions, he hates the younger composer’s shallowness behind his greatest works on the other. Now, Salieri reaches to a point where he curses God for bestowing this unmatchable talent upon Mozart. 주최: 세종문화회관
