Baudelaire, Symbolist Aesthetics and Music The performance <Flowers of Evil> deals with the works of musicians around Baudelaire, who were well versed in symbolist aesthetics. This is continued by Schumann's “ Winter ” which is the end of a romance, and then it leads to Wagner, Hurrang, Faure, and Sch ö nberg, who each expanded infinite beauty in their own artistic worlds.
