Park Shin-yang Exhibition Show The 4th Wall

행사 소개

Here is an artist who has set aside, for a moment, the glamour of being an actor and devoted the past ten years solely to pursuing the essence of “expression.” After countless nights of intense struggle on the canvas, painter Park Shin-yang’s vast emotional battle finally reveals its overwhelming presence at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts. This exhibition is not a conventional display of paintings meant simply to be viewed while standing still. Instead, the artist himself takes on the role of director, transforming two-dimensional paintings into a three-dimensional, living stage, presenting Korea’s first bold “theatrical exhibition.” Just as the “fourth wall” — the imaginary barrier separating the stage from the audience in theater — collapses, the paintings seem to come alive and the space itself begins to speak, creating a moment of wonder. Breaking boundaries and leaping out into the world, this exhibition is the most passionate and sincere confession of painter Park Shin-yang. We invite you into the heart of this powerful artistic experience. 주최: 세종문화회관
