The 21st Gwanghwamun International Art Festival: In the Square, Where History Flows

행사 소개

In the Square, Where History Flows. Gwanghwamun is where traces of history coexist with the life of today. Layered with countless moments and stories, it is a symbolic place where past and present meet and new culture and art come into bloom. Art constantly evolves and expands with the currents of its time. Different perspectives and forms of expression come together as a single work, and those works in turn become a language of communication that connects people to one another. The Gwanghwamun International Art Festival brings these currents of art together in one place, creating a forum for cultural exchange where diverse values and sensibilities coexist. Now in its 21st edition, the festival builds on more than two decades of history to explore new possibilities for art beyond the boundaries of tradition and modernity, generations, and cultures. Each work, carrying its artist’s own individuality and philosophy, unfolds a story of its own, offering visitors fresh perspectives and the chance for deeper appreciation. In the square where history continues and currents of art intersect, our works allow us to encounter one another’s worlds and share moments of empathy. On this artistic journey linking past and present, the Gwanghwamun International Art Festival invites you to write the story of tomorrow together. 주최: 세종문화회관
