Image Laundry, which has planned and carried out various cultural and artistic activities in the region of 148 Opaesan, one of poor hillside villages in Seoul, began to pay attention to the stories about the elderly living nearby. In addition, it has heard about local history changes through the meeting of about 40 senior citizens while working on a project titled ‘Sano + Ramyeon’ of cooking ramen to be given stories about living in the neighborhood. Listening to various stories about senior citizens, it was felt that the two classes of senior citizens and artists having similar deficiencies such as ‘social poverty’ and ‘uneasy future’ needed to form a daily consensus and a safety net to help each other for overcoming the current situation. The elderly, who experience cultural alienation, and artists who are placed in a difficult situation in society, met to produce artworks to fill the shortcomings and to experience various communication processes. 주최: 세종문화회관
