Sejong Center Media Facade Having brought artistic experiences into the everyday lives of citizens, Atelier Gwanghwa returns in 2026 with a new theme, Layers of Sensation: Colors of Gwanghwa, Waves of Time . Through a multilayered narrative shaped by the cycles of the seasons and the accumulation of data, the exhibition explores fleeting moments in which the senses of the city awaken, offering both a striking visual experience and a moment for deeper reflection. A total of four exhibitions will unfold throughout the year, reflecting the flow of the four seasons. Opening the series, the spring exhibition features artists Ki-jeong Koo and Ye-seung Lee , who explore the sensory boundaries where city and nature, reality and virtuality intersect. Interpreting the dynamic vitality of digital energy in their own distinct ways, the two artists create landscapes in which real nature and virtual imagery merge into fluid, ever-changing movements. These waves of light awaken the dormant senses of the city and herald the beginning of a new season. At the intersection of Gwanghwamun’s historical significance and today’s digital environment, the exhibition proposes a new perspective on the urban landscape. Filled with light, color, and waves, this sensory experience beyond the everyday invites citizens to rediscover familiar spaces in a new way. Outstanding media art works by leading contemporary artists will be presented daily from 6 PM to 11 PM. An audio guide narrated by Haechi , the symbolic character of Seoul, will also be provided, offering audiences an accessible yet in-depth interpretation of the artworks. 주최: 세종문화회관
