행사 소개

The Illini Piano Trio, formed during a PhD course at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the U.S., consists of violinist Park Ju-kyung, cellist Jung Seung-won, and pianist Jung Hye-yeon. They performed together as part of a Modern Ensemble with Camerata, a representative ensemble group in the Midwest region of the US. It has been engaging with audiences on large and small stages in Korea, starting with a splendid debut recital at Lotte Concert Hall. Having successfully completed the Complete Lecture Concert Series of the Beethoven Piano Trio with Commentary, commemorating the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth, five times from 2020 to 2021, they drew attention from domestic media such as Monthly Strad, Monthly Auditorium, the Music Education News, and Sisa News. The trio has recently been selected as a resident organization of the International Computer Music Festival and collaborated with promising composers from around the world, and also well received for its performance at the New Music Concert of Asian Composers League (ACL). 주최: 세종문화회관
