Won Hyun-jung Piano Recital

행사 소개

Tirelessly taking on new researches, pianist Won Hyun-jung premiered a suite completed from one of Mozart’s unfinished works of baroque style at her doctoral lecture recital. She further published the score as the co-author of W. A. Mozart Suite for Piano (arranged and completed by Logan Skelton and Hyun Jung Won) through Japan’s Muse Press. And since 2020, she has published a classical music newsletter called “Salty Classic” where she tells knowledge and background stories of classical music and composers for the purpose of better communication with audiences. Won studied under professors Lee Min-jung, Kim Kye-hwa, and Kye Myung-sun before she went on to study with Douglas Humphreys, Logan Skelton, and Peter Jablonski abroad. Since her first recital at Keumho Art Hall in 2013 after her return, she has given a number of recitals and chamber music concerts and currently teaches at Myongji University, Ewha Womans University, Kaywon Arts Middle School and Incheon Arts High School. 주최: 세종문화회관
