Synopsis Phillotson gives 12-year-old Jude a dream of becoming a priest and leaves for Christminster. A stronghold of noble knowledge and great ideas, and a place where the university that nurtures priests stands tall. Jude nurtures the dream of one day attending Christminster University and endures the cursed reality with his book as a friend. However, at the age of 20, Jude makes a one-night mistake and ends up marrying Arabella. Arabella, whose conduct was not good and lied frequently, leaves Jude after less than a year. Jude feels the time has come for him to leave for Christminster. But Christminster, where Jude arrived, was not the city he had dreamed of. It was divided into the world inside the university walls and the world of the workers outside the wall. While working as a stonemason in a quarry, he constantly sent petitions to the university, but no university accepted Jude. There, Jude meets his cousin, Sue. Sue was a woman with eyes as clear as an angel in heaven and a hippie ideology who refuses to be tangled in institutions and customs. Jude 주최: 세종문화회관
