PROFILE Monopole Clarinet Ensemble The name of the clarinet ensemble “Monopole” is derived from “monopolized supply of top quality wine,” where young and talented clarinet performers that will lead the Korean classical music world create an ensemble group with the purpose of “top quality supply of classical music and sharing of emotions.” This fifth regular concert attempts to express the colors of various emotions we feel on a daily basis with the rich sounds and tone of the clarinet, which is the instrument most similar to the human voice, and we hope that this can contribute towards the vitalization of the performance culture that was stagnant due to COVID-19 while giving the audience hope and comfort with the beautiful tone of the clarinet in this special year-end performance.
