My Mother was a Taoist Fairy

Deep in the mountains, an old mother and her grown son left society and live in poverty, but happily, since they live near animals. Then one night, sounds of gunfire ring in the mountains, where a hunter appeared and killed animals. Surprised, the son tackles the hunter and the hunter dies. After this incident, the old woman and her son leave to hide deeper in the mountains, where they accidentally stumble upon a Taoist fairy who was taking a bath. The old woman steals the Taoist fairy's robe for her son, who cannot marry at an old age. Because of the old woman’s scheme, the fairy is no longer able to return to the sky. However, contrary to the old woman's hopes, the fairy and a woodcutter fall in love and she becomes the wife of the woodcutter. The old mother's jealousy begins, creating conflict between her and her son. At the peak of the conflict, the fairy gives birth to a baby. But the joy is short-lived as the sound of bombs grow closer, and a huge army attacks the underground shed. The woodcutter is then taken away by the soldiers, and the fairy leads the old woman and her son to the battlefield to find her husband.... 주최: 세종문화회관
