행사 소개
Fantasy: Four Soundscapes Painted in Music “Fantasy,” drifting along the boundary between reality and dreams, has long inspired composers in many different forms — at times becoming a landscape of nature, and at others, an expression of human longing. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart portrayed the image of his student through melody, while Alexander Scriabin translated the breath of the night sea he encountered during his travels onto the keyboard. Frédéric Chopin broke free from formal constraints to express emotion itself through sound, and Robert Schumann captured the free-spirited and fantastical atmosphere of Vienna’s carnival in music. In this recital, Asami Kitamura unfolds a world of imagination guided by music, tracing the fantastical scenes shaped in sound by these four composers. [PROGRAM] W. A.
