2026 Seoul Philharmonic Chamber Classics V: Classical Vienna

행사 소개

The evolution of the keyboard, experienced in a single concert. On this evening, the master of period-instrument performance Kristian Bezuidenhout will, together with members of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, guide listeners through how the sound of the keyboard has changed over time. Telemann's chamber music for two violins, viola, and cello reveals the embracing quality of the harpsichord; Mozart's Piano Trio in G major, in dialogue with violin and cello, brings out the smooth, harmonious sound of the fortepiano; and Mozart's Piano Quartet in G minor, on the second half of the program, lets us experience why the grand piano came to occupy the place it holds today. Alongside these keyboard instruments — similar in appearance but irreplaceable in character — listen, too, for the changing tone of the strings that accompany them. [PROGRAM] Telemann, String Sextet in G minor TWV. 44:33 Mozart, Piano Trio in G major, K. 496 Mozart, Piano Quartet No. 1 in G minor, K. 478 주최: 세종문화회관
