What has become of us after the world lockdown since the pandemic outbreak? Isolated by, what is supposed to make the world smaller, all the digital means that help us “connect” amidst social distancing. Overwhelmed by technological advancement such as A.I. to “judge” whether we fall ill or not. The world spins so fast that we can no longer just focus on restocking our masks, earning bread or doing our laundry, only to wake up in a new age in which the rules have changed. Led by eccentric award-winning theatre-maker, Tree Kwok, a creative ensemble from Hong Kong and collaborators from Seoul, will join hands to develop an immersive hybrid theatre of on/offline with audiences from on site and on the internet. Take the invitation, be inspired and participate in a conversation about us in our time. Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Sejong Center for the Performing Arts
