Program October 16(Fri) 19:30 F. MENDELSSOHN-STRING QUARTETS No.1,2,4 October 17(Sat) 17:00 F. MENDELSSOHN-STRING QUARTETS No.3,5,6 Novus String Quartet consists of the nation’s best musicians including violinists Kim Jae-young and Kim Young-wook, violist Kim Kyu-hyun and cellist Moon Woong-hwi. The organization was founded in 2007 by young performers from the Korea National University of Arts with a sense of duty to develop chamber music. In particular, the operation featuring no distinction between the first and second violins is becoming a huge asset to make ever-changing music for each song. Since the 2014/2015 season, the organization has continuesly unfolded unrivaled activities on the world stage as a member of the global agency Siemenauer where Arditti Quartet, Belcea Quartet and Artemis Quartet are belonged. Tchaikovsky with cellist Ophelie Gaillard and violist Lise Berthaud following the international debut album released in 2016. The album to mark the 30th anniversary of the opening of Seoul Arts Center was released, and in 2019, the album Death and Maiden was released, and it won the Golden Diapason Award for the Franck’s Piano Quintet album with pianist Michel Dalberto. 주최: 세종문화회관
