Today's concert is the gala Villains in Opera . Villains are ever-present in dramatic works, drawing the audience's condemnation and disdain on stage. But through tonight's concert, we would like to ask one question: "Were they villains from the very beginning?" "What anguish and wounds lie hidden behind their misdeeds?“ The concert centers on arias by some of the most powerful villains in opera history. Rather than simply portraying their evil, the program illuminates the tragic narratives and human anguish that shaped them into villains, offering a multi-dimensional perspective. Audiences will encounter the sorrow, obsession, and weight of destiny hidden within these powerful arias, experiencing an entirely new perspective on the nature of humanity.
