Mirae Music’s 49th Presentation Concert

행사 소개

Mirae Music was founded in 1976 (first president Chung Hoe-gap) by veteran composers in Korea, with the aim of promoting the substantial advancement of Korean creative music, and joining in the world's contemporary music scenes through future-oriented creative activities and exchanges of works in tune with the times. Previous presidents: Baek Byeong-dong, Jang Jeong-ik, Jeong Tae-bong, Lee Don-eung, Lee Hye-seong, Jeon Sang-jik (current). For about half a hundred years, Mirae Music has kept holding regular presentations of works every year, focusing on the works of members active in the domestic creative music scenes in line with the original purpose of "progressive creation and presentation." By looking deep into many different styles of music, ranging from new comers' works, including the appointment and public offering of veteran composers, Mirae Music has keenly recognized where it stands and seriously sought for direction to move forward. Through these regular work presentations, Mirae Music desires to inspire creative motivation while preparing another indicator to lead the Korean creative music of "Past, Today, and Tomorrow." 주최: 세종문화회관
