PROFILE Pianist. Im Jin-young After winning a prize at the Hankook Ilbo Music Competition, pianist Im Jin-young studied piano at Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School, and Kyungwon (Gachon) University. She obtained her diploma (diplom) from the University of Arts Bremen (Hoschschule fuer Kuenste Bremen) in Germany and completed the masterclass in music education at Brahms Johannes Conservatory in Hamburg (Johannes Brahms Konservatorium Hamburg). After teaching musical accompaniment in a clarinet class and a classical saxophone class at the University of Arts Bremen for 9 years, she has returned to Korea to present original performances and musical interpretations, starting with this recital.
